I am a New York-based writer. My articles and essays have appeared in The Atlantic, Slate, and The Boston Globe Magazine, and The Lily (a publication of The Washington Post). For the past eight years, I’ve written columns for my hometown newspaper, The Canton Citizen.
I currently work at Slate, where I produce the podcasts How To! and Culture Gabfest as well as write stories for the website. Previously, I fact-checked, researched, and wrote stories for The Atlantic print magazine.
I graduated from Bowdoin College in 2018 with a major in English and a minor in Italian, having completed a creative nonfiction thesis on Italian-American immigration.
